Import Registration Process for Food and Cosmetic Products
Imported food products must have complete Chinese labeling on the packaging. According to Article 22 of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation, containers or outer packaging of food and food ingredients must be clearly labeled in Chinese and with universal symbols. Text and images on packaging must not suggest medical efficacy or include exaggerated or misleading claims. For cosmetics, the outer packaging must comply with the latest draft regulations announced by the tFDA regarding imported cosmetic labeling.
Step 1: Provide Ingredient List
Step 2: Confirm that the ingredients can be imported, and provide a detailed quotation based on the product quantity.
Step 3: Payment and Document Submission
For New Products (Capsules, Tablets):
1.Ingredient list (2 copies)
2.Product specifications
3.Product label
4.Certificate of Analysis (COA)
5.Manufacturer’s Certificate
6.Herbal extraction process and residual solvent analysis
7.Final commercial product with complete packaging (2 units)
For Powdered or Liquid Food:
1.Ingredient list (1 copy)
2.Final commercial product with complete packaging (1 unit)
For General Cosmetics:
1. Ingredient list (1 copy)
2. Final commercial product with complete packaging (1 unit)
3. Package insert and label
Step 4: Submission to Authorities
Once all required documents are prepared, we will proceed with official submission.
